I’ve had the privilege to be at the Brewers game in 2008 when they clinched the NL Wild Card and now I was at Miller Park again on Friday night when the Crew clinched the Central.  It’s tough to remember too many details from 2008, but I can say that Friday night was pretty fun to watch.

These players, who are normally so predictable in post-game settings, really let loose for a good two hours after their win over the Marlins.  It was fun to see the guys interact with each other once they let their guard down.  Some players seemed hell-bent on pouring out every last bottle or can they could find – others weren’t about to let any go to waste and took more than a few sips.

For some, it was the first taste of postseason success.  For others, it may be one of the last as they reach the end of their careers.  But it was really fun to watch them celebrate with their friends and be able to capture it all on tape.
