APPLICANTS HAVE UNTIL FRIDAY MAY 31ST TO ENTER, SO SEND YOUR EMAIL IN TODAY!!

Last year Sports32 introduced an exciting new competition to select one person to be a guest on the Sports32 Roundtable with Dennis Krause called “Talking the Talk”.  By popular demand, we are bringing it back for Season 2!  This show gives the viewer a chance to win a spot on our signature program, the “Sports32 Roundtable”, which is our daily local sports discussion show.  We are giving you a chance to test your knowledge and voice all of your opinions on the Brewers, Packers, Bucks, and more.

If you love sports, inevitably you’ve had many passionate discussions about your favorite teams.  You may have also watched the Roundtable and said “I can do this!“.  Well, this is your chance to finally talk the talk and show everyone what you’ve got.

The first step to enter is to send an e-mail to sports32@twcable.com explaining why you would make an entertaining and informative guest.  You must use 150 words or less and be 18 years old to be eligible for this contest.  Be creative and fun and let us know why you deserve to be chosen!

We will choose the semifinalists from there and invite those lucky fans into our studio for a one-on-one interview that will be used as a screen test to see if you have what it takes.  We will post those discussions with Dennis Krause on Wisconsin on Demand, Channel 411, for a voting component that will help decide the Finalists and eventual winner.

Like we did last year, we will also put together a behind-the-scenes show on Sports32 that will chronicle your path to the Roundtable.  So, even if you do not win the eventual grand prize, the semifinalists will all make it on TV in some fashion!

The only person not eligible to enter is 2011 winner Steve Haise.  You can be a Time Warner Cable employee, a contestant from last season, a former sports reporter…or even a Parts Sales Manager, like Steve!  Watch a compilation of the journey Steve took to eventually be on the Roundtable in 2011!

Send your e-mails to sports32@twcable.com throughout the month of May to enter the contest.  We will contact the semifinalists the first week of June to set up their screen tests at the Sports32 studios. Good luck everyone and let’s see who can Talk the Talk!

Season 2 of Sports32 and WIOD’s “Talking the Talk” is a joint venture of Time Warner Cable.

    Hello Tom,
I would like to be considered for the guest host position once again. I believe that I have a unique perspective on Wisconsin sports, since I grew up in Milwaukee during the heydey of the Milwaukee Braves, the Lombardi Era, and Kareem “Lew Alcindor” and the Bucks. Baseball cards, “Knothole Gang”, Eddie Doucette (I wrote a poem about him” and so forth. Thank you.

      Mark,

Yes, we obviously remember you from last season! Thank you for the entry and I will let you know after the May window if you are moving on to the next round.
